Job Task Analysis Workshop (JTA)
A workshop where subject matter experts (SMEs) are invited to work through a proven process that will provide the following deliverables for a specific exam:
1. Updated and completed test definition document defining the purpose of the exam, the domain to be measured, and a description of the test audience.
2. Identified tasks necessary to be considered minimally acceptable in a specific job role.
3. Completed test blueprint that identifies the objectives to be tested in the exam and objective weighting to determine how many questions (items) should be written.
4. If a beta test is to be conducted (highly recommended), a set of completed beta test survey questions. These questions will be used only during the beta test stage and is an integral component for the item analysis stage.
